November - Coal Mine visit Bruceton Research Site U.S. Bureau of Mines
November - Scrubgrass Advisory Council Meeting
December - Saturday construction of the dam at Scrubgrass
December - Biweekly flow rate measurements using three methods begins

1995

February - Duquesne University Masters Program presentation
March - Student Mid-Year report
April - Three River Environmental Awards Dinner(first prize)
May - Awarded EPA grant to construct passive wetland treatment
June - Student Final Exam/Mock Grant Application
June - Pittsburgh Zoo Trip for a job well done!
September - Secretary of the Interior Bruce Babbitts visits the site
October - Ecofest at Chatam College teacher presentation and Eco Action Award
December - Student trip to Washington, D.C. Secretary Babbitt's speech at the National Press Club

1996

February - Scott Township approaval of contract to accept 319 grant/partnership with municipality
March - Enviromental Education Foundation established through Scott Conservancy
September - New group of students introduced to Scrubgrass
October - Produced video awareness and fund raisers sucessfully raised $47,660
November - Passive Treatment system begins construction

1997

February - students build model of passive treatment system
April - Student presentation to faculty
July - Student plant 1,000 wetland plants
September - The new class began introduction
December - Passive treatment system finished

1998

January - Class sends out first newsletter
February - Students and volunteers instal elbow on inlet pipe
March - Students and volunteers extend overflow pipe and install weir at site
June/July - Students continue data collection
September - Introduce to new class to Scrubgrass, introduce to FCEEP
October - Begin data collection at Scrubgrass and Chartiers Creek
November - Receive $50,000 grant to build pre-mechanical alteration system
